The Hungarian BASE Jumping and Skydiving Sports Association is Hungary’s first BASE jumping sports association, founded to support and represent BASE jumping and skydiving.
Hungary’s first BASE jumping sports association
The Hungarian BASE Jumping and Skydiving Sports Association was founded in 2002 and officially registered in 2003. It was the first organisation in Hungary established with the aim of supporting and representing the sport of BASE jumping. Its founding members were experienced skydivers, the first representatives of BASE jumping in Hungary, and other members dedicated to supporting the sport.
The Association’s mission is to support Hungarian skydiving and BASE jumping, as well as Hungarian BASE jumpers and skydivers. It aims to promote these sports in Hungary, provide education that meets modern standards, and organise both national and international sporting events.
Training, tandem jumps, community
Our association is the largest skydiving club in Hungary, with more than 100 active members, thanks to our high-quality training programmes and friendly, community-focused atmosphere.
From spring to autumn — and, on request, even during winter abroad — we run regular skydiving training courses (AFF) and offer tandem jump opportunities for those interested in skydiving.
We use the latest and most modern student and tandem parachute equipment. Our instructors are experienced skydivers with several thousand jumps, belonging to the forefront of Hungarian skydiving, with numerous national championship titles and international competition experience behind them.
Our current base is Börgönd Airfield near Székesfehérvár, where jumps can be made from both small aircraft (4 seats) and larger aircraft (15 seats), usually on weekends, with occasional weekday jumping opportunities as well.
